How to Use MailDroply: A Simple Step-by-Step Guide

Create your address

Open MailDroply and the service creates a temporary address for you. If the interface offers a custom-name option, you can request an available local part. Keep the address visible while you complete the short-lived task.

Copy the address

Use the Copy button rather than typing the address manually. This reduces simple spelling mistakes, especially on a phone. Then paste the address into the low-risk website or form you are using.

Watch the inbox

Incoming messages appear in the current inbox while the mailbox is active. If a message is delayed, wait briefly and use the inbox refresh control rather than repeatedly creating new mailboxes.

Finish and move on

Read the message you need and complete the task. Do not use the temporary address as the only recovery method for an important account. When you no longer need it, let it expire or delete it if the service provides that option.

A simple first session

Open MailDroply, check the current address, and copy it into the low-risk form you are completing. When a message arrives, select it from the inbox to read the details. If you deliberately need a fresh address, use Random New Email rather than reloading the page.

Keep the workflow predictable

The current mailbox is intended to survive a normal page reload on the same browser. If you switch to a new address, make sure the website you are using is also using the new address. This small habit prevents verification messages from being sent to an older mailbox by mistake.

Create, copy, wait, read

On the MailDroply homepage you get a ready temporary email address without creating an account. Copy the address with the button instead of typing it. Paste it into the low-risk form. Keep the same mailbox open. When mail arrives it appears in the homepage inbox and in the inbox page.

If you want a recognizable address, type a custom local part such as project-test and create that mailbox if it is available. Allowed characters are letters, numbers, dot, hyphen and underscore. Custom does not mean permanent.

When to click Random New Email

Use a new random address when you are starting a different task, not when a verification email is simply slow. Reloading the page should bring back the current mailbox. If you need an older active mailbox, use Restore and enter the email name only.

Finish the job, then stop

Read the message you needed, complete the signup or test, and leave the mailbox to expire. Do not store passwords, ID scans or bank letters in the inbox. MailDroply is a short-lived tool, not a second Gmail.

Responsible use reminder

Use a temporary email address only for short-lived, low-risk tasks. Do not use MailDroply for banking, account recovery, medical records, government services, passwords or other information you cannot afford to lose. Keep the same address while you wait for a message. If the account matters, switch to a permanent mailbox you control.

Common first-session mistakes

Typing the address by hand, creating a new random mailbox while waiting, and using the address on an important account. Avoid those three and the product is straightforward: copy, paste, wait, read, done.
